FOCUS
The Ubu's and the Trans Musicales' constant connections with the artistic networks of the country, and the festival's potential as a platform for future projects, are at the basis of FOCUS. Concerts taking place at the "4Bis" in the CRIJ (Regional Youth Information
Centre), from December 3 to December 6, serve as means for FOCUS to introduce new proposals and promising artists.
The second edition of FOCUS highlights the 2008 selections of different partners:
♦ Trempolino offers programmes of training and follow-up to professionals, or soon to be professionals of the music scene in Pays de Loire.
♦ The top selection of Cargö, a venue promoting contemporary music in Caen since 2007.
♦ The latest discoveries of the CRIJ's Centre of Resources for Contemporary Music, whose mission is helping new talents find adapted structures (festivals, labels, communication…) where there can grow and find their public.
♦ The latest discoveries of the Omnibus, La Citrouille and the Manège.
