Agenda 21

This clashing title first appeared in the Trans Musicales in 2005. It was soon followed by a green tree-like rendition of the Trans' red logo: the Trans' commitment to Agenda 21, a sustainable development plan.
In 2005, the Tans Musicales commit to Agenda 21 for six years as a
first step.
In 2007, the Trans sign the "Charter of Festivals for sustainable and committed development in Brittany. This charter was the result f the collaboration between 6 festivals in Brittany, Région Bretagne and "Adème Bretagne" (Brittany's Agency for the Environment and Energy Management).
In 2008, Yourope, the European Festival Association grants us the
Green'n Clean* label as a reward for our efforts in this matter.
The Trans remain unchanged when it comes to their line-up, their unique approach to music, their projects and their relation to their public. It's the way we tackle these subjects that has evolved! Like a discreet butterfly effect, our day to day behaviour is being reshaped
and slowly but durably integrated in the surrounding environment.
The sustainable development philosophy helps us create a sensible
festival: better management of its actions to better serve the artists, their music and the public wishing to discover them.
For our 30th edition, new actions are on the Agenda:
- Returnable plastic cups for waste reduction.
- Water and energy consumption follow-ups on the festival's premises.
- The reinforcement of the Agenda 21 attitude with the different teams
- Extension of the carbon compensation strategy to include all travels
of the artists.
Previous actions will be maintained and strengthened:
LE SALON BLEU : a pubic information point with the "Prév'en
Ville" stand for risk prevention, travel to and from the "Parc
d'Expo" information and the operation "Capitaine de Soirée" next
to the Water Bar.
SUSTAINABLE DÉVELOPPEMENT : guided tour on Saturday
suscribe here.
SELECTIVE WASTE sorting with on site agents to assist the public.
CULTURE(S) EN TRANS, a project concerning persons aged 16 to 25 with preferential conditions of access, tarif reductions and organization of cultural projects.
