China
The year of France in China sets the tone of the line-up. Jean-Louis Brossard is preparing a French selection – in the broad sense of the term by crossing, ever so slightly, the borders of France. He endeavours to introduce each facet of the French creation in today’s music, the famous "French touch" which is such a typical feature of our cultural universe, so special too in a standardized world.
Norvège
On the invitation of Vegard Waske, manager of Jaga Jazzist and Lars Horntveth, the Trans Musicales festival has travelled to Norway, the time of an amazing evening in the framework of the By:Larm ("Town: Noise" in Norwegian) festival. 7th edition for this travelling festival of discovery, a panorama of the Scandinavian very active and rock scene. After Trondheim, Bergen, Tromsoe, Kristiansand, the By:Larm festival stopped in 2005 in Stavanger, in the Rogaland region. 4th town of the country, situated in the South-West of Norway (South end of Fjords’ region), illustrated simply by two museums: Museum of oil and Museum of Sardines.
